I did a 2BM for a Chase Visa SP and Ink Business on 4/2 and was successful in getting both by transferring some of my credit lines.  Is it too soon to do another 2BM for the Marriot Premier and Hyatt cards or do I need to wait a certain period of time between applications?

I currently have 4 open Ink bold business cards, a United card and 2 SP (Visa and Mastercard) with Chase.

Thanks!
they let you move around personal credit to open a business card?

I'm not sure if this appropriate thread for my question, but anyway.  I have 6 year-old Chase Marriott Visa, this is one of my oldest cards. I don't want to keep it anymore, but I don't want to loose a good credit history. I called Chase to convert it to any other cards (preferable to Priority Club Visa), but they told me that they only could convert it to Ritz-Cartlon card ($395 annual fee...). I was under impression, that Chase easily converts cards from one type to another. Was it a not-knowledgeable agent or this is a reality?
Apply for new cards and have them shift the credit line over to get them approved.

that would require him ton "close" his Marriott card which he doesn't want to do. Unless you men shift most of the credit over but leave he card open

Gotcha, didn't read that closely.

Anyway if it's not your oldest card then don't worry about it.  It won't fall off for 10 years anyway.

Would it result in loosing credit card history? My credit history is not long (7 years), if I lose this card, it might be difficult to apply for new ones. I would prefer to keep this card but under different program (Priority Club, Freedom, etc).

My longest card is DL Platinum AMEX (7 years). Last year I mistakenly closed Citi Shell MC (6 year old) to keep low number of cards with CITI (stupid me). Other cards don't live more than 1 year... Marriott Visa is the only card I keep with Chase for long time (to convince  them that I'm not a churner ...)

It will stay on for 10 years, so you won't feel any effect from the closure until 2022 and by then you'll have other cards, plus you'll still have your oldest card.

question:

My father has an old Cap1 Visa card which has about 200k no hassle reward points, I'm trying to figure out a way to get him the most

value for these points. At the moment the best options are to use them for 2000 bucks in travel or to cash out for walmart gc's and to

buy visa gc's from walmart.com and lose like $50 out of the $2000. The question is that i vaguely remember seeing somewhere that

someone changed one type of Cap1 card for another, without losing the points and the 2nd card was more versatile for using these

points or transferring them to airlines. Am I hallucinating? I can't seem to find anything on this from searching, anybody have an idea or

know what I'm talking about? Thanks!

You had a cute dream... There's no airline where you can transfer 'no hassle rewards' to. Yeah, their rewards program stinks... And I don't believe they'll have to improve in the future to compete with other CC issuers because they target a different category of customers: the bad and low credit history ppl.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I asked if there is another capital 1 card which can be cashed out or transfered, meaning a different currency than no hassle rewards.

Southwest 50k link
One thing to link it in another thread, but to put it in the thread with dan's links. That's a little much

Hi Dan,

They told me they declined me for the British Airways card, because I already have one open.  Is there any way around this? I do have one currently open (which I don't really use).

Were you hoping to receive a second sign up bonus? I haven't seen any reports of ppl being successful with the BA card.
