I just did the 3BM with AMEX, two were approved instantly, the other after two days. My last AMEX app was December.

Why would you be able to report household income if you don't live in the household?

If you max out your credit cards, are your parents going to foot the bill?

Not sure how the "hence" works in there, or, for that matter, why the fact that you don't make any money means you should be able to use your parents' income on your credit card applications.

Did an app-o-rama tonight for Amex Starwood/MB Plat/Plat and instantly approved for all 3

Did 2BM for Citi TY Premier Visa/MC and declined on both.

Is this a joke? What is up with Citi?

it means they pay the bills, and according to our family banker in chase since i still am under their watch and i am a full time student, and i am under their insurance and so on - there income is what i write on app's...(this way 7 mnths ago when i signed up for the freedom)

Though I'd have to check to confirm, I'm pretty sure your banker couldn't be more wrong.

ok or maybe i missunderstood, so then im wrong... even though im sure thats what he did say, but if it stops this then sure i can be wrong. but how then can a kid who lives in their parents house ever have an income and get a cc

You ask that as if kids have some inalienable "right" to get a CC.

i guess ur right.... u make a gr8 point, i forget i grew up paying with cash only and never ever allowed a cc not even debit... so hahaa last laughs on me...kol hakavod thanks a million
