na, a company esp like chase doesnt want their costumers being treated like that, even if the customer is wtong, they rather u walk away saying that even though i was wrong they were nice,

I want the Ink Bold in case they change the product next week.
I already have one of the SW cards, don't know if I can sign up for the other.
Anything else? Is there a decent United product out there?

Warning, Chase has been notorious for shutting multiple people down at the same address, and I've even heard of one case where Chase linked accounts at different addresses (using the phone number) and shut them down at the same time. Tread very lightly...

It's more of a general warning about Chase A/A risks (that is isn't just the name/SSN), not specifically about this situation.

i cant find it in a search, (sorry asherO) but is it good for me to overpay my cc before the balance is due, this way the cc company actually owes me money every month

Do a search (from the pain screen for "Amex prepay" and you'll have your answer about Amex. I don't think there's any specific issues discussed here for any other issuers.

In that case it was reported the CB that you did $0 in spending last month and you don't owe any money.

In general its best to have the statement close with a balance so its gets reported the CB. Then when you pay it, it gets marked as paid on time -( on the CB's books) which builds/establishes your credit.

Without out, when applying for loans/cc's/mortgage in the future, lenders will have no way to determin that you are responsible and pay your bills.
