I remember once reading how Dan explained why the Starwood CC is the best card to use in Israel even with the foreign charge does anyone know where it is?
Or does that even make sense?

I believe you misremembered (roger Clemons). IIRC dan has said that with spg you get great values in Israel when redeeming SPG points for hotel stays

What/how do I do ?

I have the Amex plat and plat MB. I have to cancel before the 30th . I have some pending charges and 25k on plat as well as a payment to the card that hasnr posted yet and one pending charge and no points on MB.

What's my move now? How do I cancel the cards and paying the pending charges that haven't posted yet?

If I downgrade plat to zync than will the charges show on my account somehow? And would I have to move out my points if I downgrade?

That was before Chase and AMEX had any cards with no Forex fees.
Now it would only be worthwhile for an item you may need protection for and if you don't have a AMEX Plat.

UA Club for $15,k points. Make sure he pays you in advance, or you might run into issues (halachic, financial and/or social) if he has cashflow problems...

i got an mail offer from Amex for a 100K points , and i wanna downgrade it now to the Zync to save to pay the AF of $450, do i have to move out the points or will it stay on my account cuz ill have the Zync? /dont have any othere Amex card)
2. will i get with the Zync card the same points as i get on the plat while spending?

You can't transfer the points out with the Zync card, but you won't loose your points.

Save it for leverage. Not to move the CL, but to offer to close it in exchange to open a new account.

is there a reason to keep the ink bold open as opposed to transferring CL to a non annual fee card to be used for leverage?
