Because you're better off waiting for the 100K offer to make a return (typically in Q1/Q2).
Probably worth applying for a different card to today and to HUCA for that one.

seems u dont get it, its not that im looking to make today a 2bm, i made already! i applied already for the BA last week so should i Huca or just leave it? and if i leave it, will i be able to apply for it when the offer will come, even i was now denied?

Sorry that I didn't keep track when you did your 2BM
You can HUCA and get the 50K though that will probably make you ineligible for a future 100K BA offer though these things are YMMV and some people were able to churn it though it's definitely harder than any other Chase card.

If you don't HUCA you can still get the 100K in the future.

IMO you got the hard pull get the 50 K now . Bird in the hand and you will have leverage for next appo if you can get it pushed thru, and estabilish some credit history

If denied then gamble there will be a better offer later . I have learned things change very quickly in

HUCAing to push the BA through will likely come at the expense of another card or line, so no leverage gained there.

I hear your bird in the hand argument though, just not sure I agree that it's not worth waiting to double up, interesting question though.  The real answer is to do better research before doing the app.

I beleive adding to your CL total and the ability to prove yourself to Chase can never be a minus.

I just opened and got the card last week. I thought the issue was chase not matching the 2K spend which clearly they still are in my case.

They gave you no hard time when you asked them to match it?

I asked now via SM waiting for an answer, said that i saw the offer in my neighborhood chase branch

  Even if the SM overnight team denies it DONT give up. Seems like some of the offshore types
don't grant matches easily . Do not get discouraged they are reading from a script and seem
to deny most things cause they don't really know better

Hopefully they will match, or send down the line to the proper department for review . Be persistent

I am out of the country now , but if I saw it in a branch I would certainly ask for it .and if I were in
NYC I. would go right into the closest branch .

If its open and not targeted why should you receive worse treatment than the next guy .
