I had both the SPG and Premier Rewards Gold from Amex and got the Points on both then closed them.
a few months later i reapplied and got them again. Sent a SM to verify the offers and on both cards was told that since I had them already within the last 12 months I wasnt eligibile for any points. I may be mistaken but I couldve sworn the consensus was that Amex gave out the points anyway and didnt pay much attention to the 12 month rule.
Can someone confirm or deny ?

So on Nov 20 I applied for my first ever business card.  I put my name as the business name and sole proprietor.  After 15 days I got a call from Chase asking for my sales volume, profit, and how much expenses I intend to put on the card.  The next day I got another call to verify that I was who I say I am, and was informed that I am approved for $5k.  Do business applications always involve so much shmoozing?  I've been applying for personal cards for a few years and I never had to talk so much on the phone lol.

Got my BA card for 2 weeks ago, and met the spending and the AF of $95 just got posted... so i would like to cancel the card.... but the miles did not yet post, so what do i do?

How long from when the AF is posted can i cancel the card and get it back?

I got a rejection letter from AMEX that requires the following info:

1)lettter confirming my home address from personal banker on bank letterhead.
2) IRS form 4506T (Form authorizing IRS to give them my Tax Return)


Has anyone heard of such verification before?

I went into TD Bank today, they made me up a yeshivish letter with the bankers Signature, and stapled her business card to the paper.

I did that 5 times...good luck 

Is it written out to Amex?  Does it have a number on the letter so they can call back after they recieve the letter to confirm address again?  Is it on "official bank letterhead"? Because TD told me they dont write letters on "official letterheads"...and Amex said the letters they received were not on the bank letterhead...those were just some of the problems.

Make a copy of it before you send it in so if they accept it youll know what they want.

I've HUCA'd tons to know what the exact wording should be on the bank letter...and like any other time you do HUCA...each rep tells you something else

Good advice, especially the one in bold, which ALWAYS should be done with correspondence in these situations.

If you bank with Chase too it might be worth it to get a letter from them as well...I would've but I was out of the country when I thought of that

I have Credit Cards with Chase, and account with Wells Fargo and TD, i'm gonna try to get letters from all 3 and then send them in, bec otherwise 30 days is gonna pass to quickly.

Please update as soon as you hear back from them. (I'm in the same situation - posted in the FR thread a few days ago.)

As far as the deadline, in the past they've given me more time. Tell them that your working on putting together all the needed documents and that you need more time.
They aren't as tough as chase with the  30 day rule. Just let them know beforehand and they'll extend it.
