If its imperative that we know her score for this please advise which site you recommend I get it from.

sky why not just go for that one alone - he said she doesnt have good credit at least let her build it up with the blue (esp bec she was targeted for it) -  for three months and in 3 or so months go for a few more,

I only meant that depending on the answers to the questions I asked she might be able to get approved for a better card. It depends.

CMIIW but just because she was targeted for it doesn't necessarily mean that much. Again all I was saying is that if it were me, depending on the other factors I might choose a different card to apply for.

I went into TD Bank today, they made me up a yeshivish letter with the bankers Signature, and stapled her business card to the paper.

I called Amex to reallocate some of my CL from an old SPG to a new SPG. They submitted a request, and not more than 2 days later (!) I received a letter saying my account has not been open long enough to adjust its CL. Is there any way around this?

I have been told by numerous CSRs that there is a 13 month rule being enforced now . At the risk ,
and hope that HUCA or someone knows a work around to this , I will refrain from saying you have to
wait the 13 months .

But unless some one can show otherwise , this might be the new normal

I want to apply for an Amex account for my wife. She doesn't have a great credit history, its not bad just not "good".
I did a 3bm for her on chase 4 months ago and was only able to get get approved for 1 cc.
She got an offer in the mail recently from Amex for the Amex Blue Cash Everyday Card, with a $150 reward after spending $500.
Do you recommend I apply for this card and another or just start with this card?
Also the offer came under her maiden name, will this complicate anything?

I wouldn't choose that card necessarily.

I don't know her score, but when I did the 3bm for chase (4 months ago) they gave her an 8k credit limit and didn't want to go higher (or more cards) "as she doesn't have credit history with such a high limit".
she has 2 other cards 1 has a $300 limit and the other $1500 she has those for about 2 years

I just got one today as well from 2 different chase branches. The first was a copy of my statement with bankers business card and signature. The second was a real letter, I'm gonna upload the latter soon after I Bloch it out a bit

I tried sending in copy of statement with bankers bus card and sig alone without a letter...didnt do a thing...HUCA'd tons of times
