Did you call up amex and ask them exactly what should be written in the letter?
Maybe it depends on who opens up the letters...but if the person who opened mine opens that letter...wont work.
Just letting you know this so you shouldnt send it and by the time they receive it and let you know its not good you dont have much time left to go for another one.
I'd suggest HUCA to find out what should be written

Its been a few months since I sent mine in but off hand I remember them saying it needs to be written to Amex

I just had Wells Fargo over the phone wend a letter of verification straight to AMEX to the address i gave them including the reference number,
they said theres a $10 charge that i can get waived after its applied to my account.

I hope this actually works!

Yes, there's a active current link expiring soon, and another expired but working, floating around.

They are all "up to 50k" after 10k spend.(even the link that doesn't say e/t, I know /s who just got it and only got 40k.

I cancelled my Southwest Card and then the next day I applied again for it, I just got the rejection letter and it says

"We see you already have a Southwest card, we'd like to speak with you if you have any questions about your account. If you don't reply to this letter within 30 days we will assume you aren't interested in pursuing an additional product."

What should I do? Apply again? Call recon? What if they ask me about my old card?

I got the 75k offer on both Citi AA amex & Visa in 2011. In mid 2012, I applied and received the Citi AA Business visa 50K offer. Is there any other Citi AA cards with bonus miles offer I can apply?

I applied via 3BM last week for:
1) Case Southwest personal: instant approval
2) Case Southwest business: Pending – I called Recon and got it approved
3) Case Slate personal: Pending –
I called Recon and they told me I was denied because you can only get approved 2 Case cards in 30 days. After offering to transfer credit line etc… they put me on a long hold and said no, only 2 cards every 30 days. The only way to get approved is to close one of the Southwest card that I was approved of, not an older card.
Any advice?

Yes...HUCA...that's it.
Myself along with many (most?) ddfers were able to get 3 approved in 30 days.

Update with my Amex application,
I called yesterday and they told me I was officially declined because the income on my Tax return that they got from the IRS was lower than my stated income. I tried explains to the rep that just because in 2011 fiscal year I didn't make that much money, I'm making more today and I can send in all my bank accounts statements that reflect that. His final answer was that all they cared about it the Tax forms and they don't match.
After HUCA the next rep said he will send it in for reconsideration on the ground that the tax forms aren't accurate for today's actual income, I'm now waiting for a final answer from them.

Chase makes getting approved seem so easy!

I apologize but could not find my answer in research ....

I did a 2 BM for both Southwest Personal cards and called to check status right away...

I got the automated message that "they are reviewing my application and will notify me in writing in 2 weeks "

Through the research that I did .. I noticed that that message generally means they have approved as opposed to the message that they will "notify you in writing in 7-10 business days"

My question is How long does it take to get approved with chase ?
I opened my chase account 4 days ago and saw they added 1 southwest card and when I call (8 days after the application was submitted) 1 card still says 2 weeks , the other says congratulations .

Does this mean i am getting denied on the second card since i didnt get them both approved at the same time ? when should i call recon ?
