just got the platt for myself though i called to have it rushed asap bec i want the 200 cr well they said they wnt be able to send it out for 7-10 days bec its a new acct   what should i do? any advise?

my parents happene to be coming to IL in a month and was waiting to upgrade the (DL) till after jan first (on my wifes platt) maybe buy the upfrade and then sm them after i recieve the card? and then double dip

I need some advice here, please.  I recently applied for two cards (using the 2BM), the UA-MP and Priority Club.  I was denied for both.

I called recon., and after reallocating some CL from another card, I got the UA card approved.

I now realized, I may have made a big mistake. I don't know what I was thinking when I applied for the UA card, for some reason I entered my MP#, I completely forgot (#blondemoment? ) that I had opened a UA (MP) card in Nov. of '11 and closed it in July '12!  And, (I don't know if this is a factor at all, but) I'm currently a UA - Club cardholder..

Now the question is, what are the chances of me receiving the signup bonus (which is the only reason I'm applying) even though I closed a UA card 5 months ago and I entered my MP# in the application? ? ?

If its basically no chance, then I'll just go right ahead and try'n get my PC card approved (by very possibly closing my UA card by) using this one (UA) as leverage...

(OTOH, if there's still a good chance of me getting the bonus, I'd still attempt recon. for the PC card, but not at the expense of closing this one..)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!   TIA

Business cards  can't be linked to personal profile !  Call them to open business side .

IIRC they say you have to call them , but I think you can create a new user name biz profile yourself .
If so, that would be another time that Chase is wrong, thank God

Is AMEX known to clawback miles?

My situation is this: My BIL applied for the Delta platinum card recently, got the card, spent the spend thresholds and got all the miles. I then had to cancel the card less then 2 months opening it do to an FR, so no annual fee was paid. I now have the miles in the Delta account and I'm wondering if AMEX would claw them back.

You first have to create a new user for your biz cards, then call in to merge.

Each card has a separate UR account, even 2 personal cards.

The United card you had in '11 might be a different product than the one you applied for now. IIRC the current card is MP Explorer http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/15261 and the one in '11 was the United Visa Signature   http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/12979
