I actually applied for it before the Dan post but by the time I called she told me they are flooded with plat applications.

All she needed to approve my cards were that I verify the spelling of the name to her. She was so easy I asked her about my gold app too so she said she took care of it as well. Then she offered to expedite both of them.

since my game is not to pay too much and i have a lounge club card, i'll pass on the plat though it looks tempting...question, though, if i have an amex delta gold can i get the Premier Rewards Gold Card and get the 50K bonus? or is the delta gold considered already having a gold?

They should be 2 different product families .Caveat But Amex themselves has been vague in interpreting the different families rules so I wonder if its a question of who you are , and your history with Amex.

Then the 12 months rule applies to the PRG .

thanks! sorry for the newbie-ness, but the 12 month rule means that after i get the PRG i can't get another gold card for 12 months, right? I can still get business cards, etc...

l had just singed up two weeks ago for MB plat and gold.

I was matched (on dan's link) for plat 100k and gold 50k today, while thinking if should I go for it or not it went deed,

I have a screen shot, should I SM them?

Trying to get an Credit increase with Chase or Citi without an Hard pull,, Huca´d tons, but no luck meanwhile,,

Is there anything i can do or tell them that i dont know to make it work? or its not possible?

Never heard of a CLI without a hard pull. Amex lies and hard
Pulls targeted upgrades.

My Starwood annual fee is soon due. Is there any benifit in downgrading over closing? My understanding is that when downgrading you don't get the bonus of the new card or year free?

Why not call for a retention bonus and keep the card?
