Question: I just applied for a Sapphire card for my wife, however, the results are bad. She has ZERO credit history. I applied for a Cap1 card in Jan for her and now every time I call Chase Recon and HUCA over and over, they all tell me the same thing: She doesn't have enough credit history, blah blah blah.

Am I wasting my time HUCAing for her and just reapply in 6 months when she will have had a credit history for 1 year?

Probably a good idea to wait.

Have him call in and ask for the AU card, and when asked, say he doesn't have the info on-hand. They will send a few followup letters asking for the info, but they can be safely discarded.

Indeed, I used to do that. But it did not work for both of the times I called. (He did say that I need not supply the social.) Perhaps Platinum Customer Service is a bit more knowledgeable?

The other option is to simply give in my DOB and stop being paranoid. Would they link it to my other accounts with them?

As long as Chase themselves see u maintaining a card in good standing in 6 months u should be good!

As long as Chase themselves see u maintaining a card in good standing in 6 months u should be good!

I applied for the freedom card for my little brother fist , thinking that's the most basic card they have. - He got denied , but got approved with other banks.

Chase said their minimum credit line is 500 on a card, and there very tough and strict with people with no credit history. unlike Citi and other banks that cater to college/secured cards.

For example, can I have the Ink Plus card for company "X" and then sign up company "Y" for the same Ink Plus card? TIA

I just did 3bm for Ink Plus, Ink Cash, and UA Explorer Biz.  I got two rejection letters.  One is for a "World Elite Business Business credit card" and the other is for "World MasterCard Business credit card."

I'm going to call recon; I'd just like to know which card each letter is referring to and which card I have not yet heard about.

I got the Ink Bold (charge card) and Ink Classic ($2,000 CL) just over three months ago.  I also have a Sapphire non-Preferred ($2,000 CL) and a Freedom ($5,000 CL)

All the accounts are dispensable, except for the Freedom (although I wouldn't object to reducing the CL on it).  My concern is that I'll negatively impact my utilization ratio if I reallocate my lines of credit from consumer accounts to business accounts.  Is that a big deal?

I see here that the LH barclay 50K offer ends on June 30,  i would like to apply for it but...
I will have on my current cards high balances till  July 7th , 

And having high balances when applying can cause for this itself a decline (is it true?)

What can i do? what are my options?

Yes, having a high balance will defiantly affect approval.(if posted to your credit report)
Maybe apply, if u are not approved, wait until your next  report generates,and ask them for another credit pull.
