Yeh Dov, that's what they told me. I haven't got credit for that long (just under 2 years) but I have a solid line of 8k and they didn't wanna give it to me...

I Want to apply for a cc which ill get lots of points for. I applied for the Sapphire Preffered but they denied me because the only history I have with chase is the Freedom and the Sapphire and United Club Explorer are both 'exclusive'... Which card do you think is easy to get approved for and gets at least 30-40k points??

CMIIW "Exclusive" might just mean that you can only be approved with a certain salary or higher.....So it might depend on how much you said you make...  (IOW if u dont make enough then you cant get it)

I talked to a person, I guess it was on a reconsideration call.  I couldn't remember exactly what I had written on my application, so I suggest having your business information prepared.

I think It's more about the time you have cards with Chase, that's what exclusive means... If your a cardholder with chase for a while then you can get these 'exclusive' cards.
Also, the smallest credit line you can get approved on these cards is like 5k, so I guess it's a big jump from the Freedom card, which is like a 'starters' card.

So the question is if the INK is also 'exclusive'. Can anyone help?

Just for example, my first card with chase was a SP with a 5k limit (approved on the spot) and i never had any history not even as an AU with Chase. Also i only had one CC when i applied, which was only open 1 year, with Wells Fargo with a CL of 1.5k (Every month fully paid/Low credit utilization)

Wow thats surprising! Even though I have cards with a 3.5k line they said my history with chase is only for 8 months... I guess I"ll just wait it out...

With Chase usually they dont ( ask them if they are going to have to pull if yes then HUCA)
