Thanks. I'm thinking of using the 2bm and signing up for the Blue cash preferred as well. I'm already an authorized user on the premier rewards gold so I shouldn't have a problem with that and the Blue card isn't too hard to get approved for... How does that sound?

My husband's united and SP have just hit the AF. I only recently closed his BA. What should I apply to now to move the credit line? I have no hotel cards (just SPG) because we're not big, fancy travelers.
[The way i've been using my points: We took the family to Israel and we send our kids back and forth to yeshiva and my married one back to me for yomtov.]

What is the best card for me? either best sell value, or something even a plain Jane like me can make use of?

sorry i wrote it in a diff thread. outcome was i went to chase the next morning and my banker called recon bec he wanted to and he spoke to them and i had to confirm of shutting down a sapphire (reg) and splitting the CL among the BA and SP

I've bin hearing from Dan several times and now again I see he wrote in the comments on his recent post, that asking for a CL increase is a hard pull, with derech eretz I would like to clarify, is this true? hence when ever I asked for a CL increase with Chase or Capitol One it was always a soft pull, no hard pull what so ever. So Dan are you mistaken?

I apologize in advance for correcting you. 'Hence' is synonymous with 'therefore'. I assume that is not the word you were looking for.

I'm looking for a card that has the meets the following criteria:

1) Can be used out of US with no add'l transaction/international fees.
2) No annual fee
3) Benefit, but no required - cash back (or any rewards program, cash back being the optimum)
4) Car Rental Coverage - even out of the country.

Any advice greatly appreciated, TIA!
