CMIIW, even according to T&C you should have received the bonus for biz. Did you challenege them on that? Regarding personal, AFAIK, it's YMMV.

Why cancell now. Wait for the $200 in Jan. Then cancell. You have 3 month to cancel to get the annual fee back....

What is the best way to pay amex if you don't want to pay from your bank account does bank check? money order? someone else check work? scared to use bluebird to amex/ any other ideas?

I used a third-party check to pay a BoA card and was shut down. I doubt Amex will be more accommodating.

I don't see why a postal money order would not be accepted

What I a postal money order? also on the phone they told me it is not a problem to pay over the phone with a friends checking account just wasn't sure...? [also how bad is it to just bluebird]?

I've use BB to pay Amex with bli ayin hara, no problems. I've also used checking accounts not in my name, to make online payments.
