if I spend 10k on a cc let the statement close and points post in my airline account and close my cc.will 1. They take back the miles? 2 how much damage to my fico score?

I don't want to take anything for granted but you never mentioned actually paying the 10k.

I'm 100% sure this has been discussed but my searches haven't turned anything up... When I click on the link in the forum and get redirected to americanexpress.com I get the message "You have been identified as a current American Express Card Member. You may have seen an offer advertised for this product previously, but the offer is not available to current American Express Card Members." How do I avoid this?

Just called Amex to downgrade back to BRG, Rep said the Forex fees will go back into effect, until May 2014, when they will be waived for BRG.

Every card has it's own rules. Idk if it's a year (good question and I'm waiting for an expert to chime in) but I remember reading BA is different/harder than other chase. And btw other chase isn't 3 months, for sapphire 2 days worked for me.
