Hi Dan, i hope you can help me here. I applied for 3 Chase cards using the 3bm and just received the letters in the mail that i was rejected for every one of them, CO,UA & Freedom.
The reasons: Credit Report did not score enough points...
Strange that on one letter it said my score is 707 (based on FICO-Experian. Range 300-850) and the other said my score is 661 (based on Chase Bank. Range 100-990), i don't really understand the discrepancies here... whatever
Primary Factors:
-Not enough accts open long enough
-too many requests for new credit or reviews (i think almost all from Chase, attempting to open those same cards)
-balances are too high compared to credit limit (they looked of course right before i paid my bills... thank you)
-too many recently opened accts. (oddly enough, from ...Chase)
I thought i'd get approved because i WAS approved for the BA card a few months ago..
BTW, i pay ALL my bills on time.
Amex approved me for 2 cards on that same day.
So my Q. is, A) Which of the numbers below should i call (1st 2nd 3rd..)?
Chase: 800-432-3117 (Application status)
Chase: 888-270-2127 (Application reconsideration)
Chase: 877-781-3109 (Card combining & card type changes)
Chase: 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst reconsideration)
Chase: 888-622-7547 (Chase Executive Office)
B) What would be my best argument to get reconsidered?
Thanks to anyone who thinks they can help.
I really want to grab the CO (50K) and UA (30K) while i can..
