every co branded card has a valid expl. but recently a rep asked me why i want the sapphire if i already have the preferred

That's a known 'issue' with Sapphire and SP, can't extrapolate from that and generalize for all Chase cards...

i did a 3BM on amex cc, 3 different cc, 1 i got approved on the spot but the 2 other ones i had to call in, and they told me because there system took it for a duplicate application. does it mean that 3bm aint working ??

Same thing happened to me back when I did my 3bm for SPG, Plat and PRG. All 3 said call but when I called I was only able to get the Plat as the others were cancelled as duplicate apps...

I also used IE, FF and Chrome.

But IIRC you did something related to incognito at least in some of the instances.

Was going to but didn't in the end. I used Incognito when I did my chase 3BM. The chase one was 1 credit pull, amex actually did 4.
