Other than 3rd night free, what benefits/bonuses do you get when using an SPG to book a Starwood hotel? My hotel stays are always 1 or 2 nights so 3rd night doesn't help me much.

Is double Starwood points worth more than 2.14 UR?

although there is a general market value to points, points are really worth precisely how much you personally value them (or how much value you will realistically get from them)

while this depends on you most people value starwood points at roughly 2cpp as they transfer into many airlines at 20k to 25k ratio ( for instance if you value AA miles at 1.6cpp and transfer 20k starwood points into 25k AA miles you've effectively received the 2cpp) and because of the amazing value which can be gotten at starwoods hotels ( i got a 600$+ room recently for 5000 points and 45$)
While most people value UR points at roughly 1.6 cpp because they transfer effortlessly and instantly into many valuable partners

using this math double starwood points are worth 4 cents and 2.14 UR are worth 3.424

but once again this is completely dependent on your personal values and how you plan on using the points.

As Steve said, it's all quite personal, but for me I'd redeem MR at roughly 1.5, UR at 1.85, and SPG at 2.25.
So UR would get 3.96 and SPG would get 4.5 cents back at a SPG hotel.

A. If I carry a balance on a cc is that go on my cs report as utilization, late payments or neither?
B. Creditkarma reports that the amount of credit cards I have open (not applications) effects my score is the true or faco?

You're Kinda in the wrong thread. But,
1) Yes
2) Sort of. YMMV. Discussed extensively elsewhere on DDF. Seek and you shall find.

A. Yes, it will show up on your CR as utilization, and yes, if you make a late payment, it sure will show up on your CR as well... Hope this answers your question.
B. See above response.

Chase executive office is saying that I need a reference number for my application. Is that true or can they pull it up with my social?

Applied for Chase Freedom and SP using the 2BM
freedom was approved instant with $7,500
Sapphire was given 7-10 days
Called Chase Recon...
i was told subject to approval because of 2 many requests.
I moved my line of credit from Chase Co card from 18k to 12k
And got Approved for the Sapphire for $6k
I guess the 2BM/ 3BM isn't fool proof.

May I ask you what it is you believe a 2bm/3bm is meant to accomplish?
