its not a bad signup offer ($480) but it wont make it on time .  pc points are worth .06 and sp is about  .18. (5 times .06= .3, .18 times 2.14 =3.85) so i will go with the sp then. thnx

Better late than never.

Still a rather vague question. You simply want the most in nominal return (# of points)? Or are you asking for real return (amt of value)?

If you use a Chase PC, you'll get 25,000 PC points, but that equals no more than $150.

If you use Chase SP, you'll get 10,700 UR points, which equals no less than $160.

You might want to consider SPG, if you value it at >2.14).
How so?

Q: Ive had an citi secured card for about a year & an cap1 journey card for 7 month
(credit score772 , Last pull cap1 7 month ago  citi 13 month ago)

Is it a bad idea to try a 3bm with chase , as I dont have any cards currently with them for leverage  ?
2.is it better to try  1 amex 1 chase & 1 citi ?
Or to just try one card for now?
or just to wait a bit more ?!
TIA!!

I would do one each citi chase etc -- why not get 3 cards for sure vs. a maybe -- if for some reason  ur 3bm it did not work out u will not get the 3 cards -- i think much better chance to get one card from each -- good luck --and i would not worry now about 3 pulls vs one pull on a 3 bm -- from ur info , u have not been active with c.c. t/4 u have no real recent pulls

I apologize if this is common knowledge or has been answered before(I promise I'm not one of those guys that just posts questions without searching first); When getting an AMEX sign-up bonus for meeting a spending threshold, do you get the spending points in addition to the bonus(ie 85K points on a 75K bonus for spending $10K offer) or is it an exchange of points for meeting threshold( $10K for 75k points)? I know some cc's give you both....thanks

I would unfreeze temporarily as it is safer frozen. Also, I may be wrong here, but I don't think you need to unfreeze it (and thus have to pay the 5 dollars), Amex will ask you for the code and do it themselves.

Does anybody know how long you need to wait to apply after unfreezing your reports?

"If you are actively seeking credit, you should understand that the procedures involved in lifting a security freeze may slow your own applications for credit. You should plan ahead and lift a freeze, either completely if you are shopping around, or specifically for a certain creditor, a few days before actually applying for new credit."

Does that mean to unfreeze before you apply? or to give some time after you unfreeze?

I've seen reports that chase doesnt let you downgrade within the first year of a getting a card. Does anyone have an experience either way with this with Amex?

FWIK--u can downgrade during the first year -- if it is a charge card ( plat etc) need to down grade to another charge card ( gpr or basic green )

I'd link to apply for the Ink bold +1 more with a 2bm

1) Will biz + reg = 2 pulls?
(Iv'e seen it discussed with Amex and Citi but couldn't find any confirmation regarding chase, although there is some discussion here )

2)any suggestions for a second card, i would like something i could get cash for (currently have sapphire(reg), SP and CO)

If you plan on buying gc's in bulk what do you think of the Citizens Bank CashBack Platinum MasterCard? Seems to be 10% back on gas and groceries for first 3 months

Hard pull?
