Someone just posted about it in the venmo thread and I got the impression that it was a debit card. As soon as I checked the link I saw that it was a cc.

I never doubted that a cc wouldn't require a hard pull.

I recently applied and was approved for the UA card and was matched to the 50K offer. I got an email today basically saying please use your card etc.. I was readin the fine print and I noticed this..1 You will earn 1 mile for each $1 of net purchases. You will earn 1 additional mile for each $1 of net purchases made directly from United and on tickets purchased directly from Continental and at continental.com. You will also earn 1 additional mile for each $1 of net purchases made at merchants that classify their merchant locations for Visa/MasterCard in any of the following categories: office supply stores and wholesale distributors, DINING ESTABLISHMENTS, and GAS STATIONS. I had no idea this card offered double points on these purchases!this def isn't stated on the app...does anyone have any experience with this??

For AMEX use the targeted offer, they're not good with matching.

I never noticed it before but I just saw that American Express also offers a Hilton HHonors credit card with 40,000 bonus points for spending $750 and no annual fee. Any reason it's not included in the OP? I got the Citibank HHonors card through your link and while browsing HHonors.com found a link for the Amex Card.
