How many credit cards can someone with an excellent credit score generally be approved for in one month? I opened two personal chase credit cards and wondering If it makes sense to apply for the Amex platinum before year end?

There are many factors it's not just your "credit score"

I understand but I’m wondering if it’s unlikely to get approved for an Amex platinum if one opened two personal chase credit cards this month. I prefer not to apply if I won’t be approved.

Yes. Only referees get less now to subsidize the 40k of the referrer

Care to explain? According to chase (on the phone) it seems to be a mistake and they will get the full 90k

They will not get more than what the link says. I once made the mistake of listening to Chase saying otherwise on the phone and paid for it.

I signed up for a new Chase Ink Unlimited but missed a payment and paid a few days late. I always opt for paperless and so I was watching my emails for the statement notification and missed the mailed one. Will I lose the signup bonus because of a late payment? Should I wait and see or be proactive and ask to reconsider, based on excellent 20+ year payment history?
