i just did a 3BM for the SPG, Mercedes plat and amex plat. it said that the system is having problems and theyll get back to me with decision within 14 days. a few min later i got an email saying the mercedes and plat are approved! and i just checked the status on SPG and it said approved!

my first amex cards! welcome

My SPG from 3BM is still stuck in limbo.. i called amex the rep said he will go ahead and approve it but now says on website "come back in 24 hours" i hope that means its coming

if i want them to send me the cards to a diff address (internationally), and i want to find out my CL for each of them, should i call them and ask for all 3 in one phone call, or once its approved its approved and no diff.?

once its approved an you dont have any pending applications it wont hurt to call about all 3 cards, after all, its already approved they wont decline it or lower your CL becaue of thi call.

I helped a friend apply for the amex plat today and there was no place on the application to add an AU.

Bh they were approved. Is there a way to do online now? Or it has to be done over the phone?

Think about getting the BCP, figure I'll sign up for the starwoods for the bonus and then downgrade. Is there any better sign up bonus now with amex on a reg cc (that can get downgraded to BCP)

I have Amex PRG and Biz gold that Annual fees are coming up next month on both. Want to do a 2 BM with SPG Biz and Hilton in next 7-10 days as part of a larger apporama

Never had to deal with Amex recon ( always instant approval ) so should I just apply and hope to get denied and offer to close the first two , close the first 2 and move CL to 3 other cards I have , or wait to get approved ( If ) and then close the first two .

Do not want 7 Amex cards

I guess im not doing the 3 BMs correctly cuz I always get error messages or amex would tell me that they automatcially deleted my other two applications. Even worst is when I realize that I've gotten more than one credit pull

My credit went down significantly and Im not being approved for credit cards now...

u have to clear ur cookies and cache. open up three sep browsers and go to the banks 3 sep cards
can only do all chase
all amex..
and so on

i have UA MPE and i plan on downgrading before the anual fee comes around, does it make any difference if i wait untill i've had it for 1 year and then downgarde or if i downgrarde now after 4 months of having the card?

the only diff i think it willl make is the perks you get from having that card

i recently did the 2bm for the aadvantage visa and amex cards from citi. i was approved imediately for the visa and the amex was pending. i called citi afew days later and they told me the amex was denied. i eventually convinced them to approve that too. my ques is if ill get the signup bonus on the amex also as i may be considered a previous cardholder since they werent approved on the same day. thanks

How many of you have successfully downgraded a Plat to a Zync w/in 60 days and not lost the points in the account?
