Sorry for the noob question. Almost got everything down after tons of reading...Just did 3bm amex and got delta/plat/plat mb. Whats the best way to avoid AF for the 2 plat's? Just cancel or downgrade?

I could be wrong and please correct me if I am but I don't think you will get the sign up bonus for the plat and plat mb as I think you have to wait 90 days

What if you purchased $2500 worth..got the GC..used it then returned $2500 worth of stuff...would that even work?

In an event that you decide to return your product within the 30 day return period, you may do so, however the Gift Card value will be deducted from your refund. Gift Cards only apply to orders that have not been canceled or refunded.

While we offer free shipping on many of our products, the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Also, the original shipping charges incurred by our store on the returned items will be deducted from your refund. In addition, there may be restocking fees which will also be deducted from your refund if you wish to make a return. I just studied the application for MB plat and gold and it looks like the rules differ from gold to plat

the gold rule is,

the plat rule is,
Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months.

Saying that if I reach the spending limit on the gold first, and I am eligible for the reward, I can now still be eligible for the plat bonus

just got plat and gold in the mail

an plan on using the gold first and activated it

should i activate the plat under same account? will i get same MR account for both ?
is there a way to get two MR accounts and is that a better chance of pulling two benefits?

1. chase Sapphire preferred
2. Hayatt Visa
3. The Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards card
4. British Airways Visa
Anyone have any insight as how to avoid the fees on these cards
I do understand that it has been stated , do you really expect me
to sit here 2 hours reading for a few answers I can get after I post this
