The current card (as written on the rejection letter) is also called United Visa Signature.

Good point. Last question: After merging the 2 profiles, will the new merged one have the personal look or the biz look? The biz one is very ugly IMO.

Except of Leumi if u have there a student checking account and use ur CC over 600 shekel a month u got Cash back in ur bank account 41 shekel (about) for 3 years

the only issue i have with it is that they charge me 5 shek to take out money

I saw someone touch upon this in a Southwest forum .. but didn't seem to get an answer. I too was wondering as Dan has mentioned on the main site that if people were trying to make a companion pass in 2012 then finish spending and those holding off for 2013 can start on Tuesday....

Does anyone know when/how Chase calculates the earnings on spending when a statement crosses over a year (ie: your statement closes 01/15)? took a look back at my last years Freedom statement and couldn't figure out how they calculated the 5% bonus categories for spending between 12/15/11-01/15/12.

My specific situation - I recently got approved for both southwest cards ... and already spent close to 1500 on each ... waiting for Janauary to finish up 2000 to get 100,000 bonus points. My first statement closes 01/19/13. I'm wondering if A) I am for sure safe withh the 100,000 RR as 2013 points (if the 2000 dollar spent on each card is in January. B) if the close to 4000 in spending done in december will count as 2013 since statement closes in January. Dan made it seem that January 1st spending should for sure be safe when he posted about getting VR's at CVS on 1/1/13.

I know it doesnt seem like the biggest deal but the reason I ask is because I'm considering going for the Bold and Plus while they still have a 5000 spending limit.... but i'm not sure i want to take that upon myself if I have that 10,000 plus another 5,000-10,000 on Southwest... and I want to use my freedom on VR's in January to get the 5% bonus. ( I know its doable) I guess I can always transfer UR to Hyatt to Southwest if I want to hit the 110,000 but was still wondering?
