Not that I know of, I've transitted through about 6 or 7 times. Other than them wanting me to open my tefillin bag, no issues.

just flew with them last week TLV- AMM - EU.
great experience, no problems at all.
I even put on tefillin while waiting in AMM.

on TLV- AMM, they officially start boarding an hour before the flight, I came to the gate 30 min. before the flight & was almost denied boarding, they closed the door right behind me. & then they served a light meal, while on the ground, no spml provided on that short leg, the whole flight was 20 min. in the air.

had no issues with the tefillin at the security check.

the second leg was a 4-hour flight, ksml was provided (rabbanut, tamam catering from TLV) very good service, & also they don't have screens, so it's a mehadrin flight!

Yes the airport should be safer than the streets...but your def safer waiting in JLM for a safer connection than transiting AMN.

In my capacity as a lawyer I once questioned a witness who claimed to be Palestinian. I asked him where he was born and when and he answered with the name of a city in the West Bank and the year he was born. (I don't recall the year, but it was not long after 1948).

Then I asked him which passport he was issued when he traveled to the US. He said "Jordanian."

Not sure that is true, they arent trying to hit the airport in AMN with rockets, and the battle is not there. You’re in an airport, there are officers everywhere, it is not likely they will allow disruption in the airport for so many reasons… just a couple being that they are at peace with israel, and they would lost economic sourcing from passengers around the world not wanting to fly to their country and through their airports specficially. Not a good idea for them to allow anything to happen

That's not the point.

On a regular nice day, if they feel like it, they confiscate or cut Tfillin.

That means that the airport is a place where they feel they can do as they please.

So knowing that a major part of the population is Palestinian, it won't make AMM any safer...
