I bought 4x$50 "virtual gift cards" (no handling fee) in four separate transactions a couple weeks ago; reimbursed in 3 days. I have previously read where AA CSR indicated gift cards were not reimbursable, but many, many have posted otherwise.
i bought 2 100$ AA gift cards about 2 weeks ago- and got reimbursed right away.
Yeah does anyone have the link?
Does anyone know if you can still buy $200 worth of A"A gift cards and get the $200 credited back to your platinum card. When I called A"A they said gift cards do not qualify for the reimbursement. Also, if the gift cards do qualify can you buy 4 $50 gift cards in one purchase or do you have to buy them in 4 separate purchases? A"A charges a $4.95 fee for shipping each gift card when you buy them separately.
what does aa have to do with amex
Take a second and read the heading on this thread.
bit harsh, eh?
still what does aa know about amex policy?
probably meant amex csr...
before you get harsh try to make sure your right (in the future it would be clver to edit or erase your post so you dont look like a harsh idiot) besides that i would guess that the op actually called aa and asked them if amex would credit her (if you notice the dif q. the op asked recently and for starting new threads about things that were answered 10000's of times in front of your nose i just assumed the op is not that learned and i was asking op if they didnt relize that aa can not help with amex policy) either way posting comments that are unhelpfull are generally unappreciated people are looking for answers to their q not a commentator please keep that in mind in the future
@dansfanDavid did not really think smokey line was harsh- he was just getting him back from a diff thread (which was under your nose)
