1 year from the date of your first purchase. If you apply 06/01/11, use the card 09/01/11, you will get the nights within 1 week and they expire 09/30/12.

I sent a request to match status from Hilton gold, and i got this reply:

Thank you for your e-mail. Looking over your tier status with Hilton I see you are a Gold member. In order for us to give you Diamond status in the Gold Passport program you must be top tier with Hilton and Hilton's top tier is Diamond also. Unfortunately I would not be able to enroll you in the Diamond Trial Offer at this time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hyatt has now changed their policy, they no longer status match to Hilton at all

Please note the list of other competitors that Hyatt Gold Passport will
match:

Marriott Gold or Marriott Platinum
Starwood Platinum Preferred Guest
Priority Club Platinum

You are correct, I was trying to match to Hilton but couldn't prove the stays so she was saying if I could prove at another chain...

Yup. And I just had an extended discussion with them trying to get them to offer me a trial offer even though I don't have the stays and they refuse to do it. Too bad, was really hoping to get Diamond for my upcoming trip.

I just got the status match. After getting rejected I sent them an email reply back simply stating that I was really looking forward to trying out all Hyatt Diamond has to offer.

I successfully matched my PC platinum (with 0 stays) to Hyatt diamond trial. (on both mine and the wife's account)
now we got to get both chase cards approved...

I just got status matched from the Hilton! The denied me a few times, but then I asked for it to be forwarded to a supervisor, and it worked!

After being turned down numerous, numerous times I finally received an email enrolling me in Diamond Trial status. I am not sure why they decided to give it to me now, it may have been from the fax I sent over a week ago because last I left it with them via email they were not giving me the trial.

So I was sent an approval email on Friday but for some reason my account still says gold and I see no suite vouchers. Anybody know of those will be mailed or just in the account?>

I got the status match from Hilton to Hyatt. They even let me use one of my free upgrade certificates on top of a point reservation. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in one of the Chesapeake Suites. Hotel was amazing! Service was amazing! everything about it was awesome!

I called the front desk of the hotel and told them I have a reservation coming up in a couple of days which I made with points, do they mind if I use the certificate? They told me they have no problem with that but they aren't the ones who set up the upgrade, Hyatt Diamond is. So I called Hyatt Diamond and told them that the hotel said they have no problem with it, could they please do it for me this time? They said no problem!
