You receive HH status through having some of their cc's. I think the AMEX card gives you gold.

I have the united club card which gives me status in the Hyatt platinum elite is there any way that I can upgrade my self to diamond still? And if I can't which hotels will match what I have with Hyatt?

you can still get a hyatt diamond status match with hilton gold for example.
