Just to understand...Is everyone talking about matching from Hilton Gold to Hyatt Diamond?

I have Hilton Gold and I have a stay (one of the free certs I got with card). Will this be good enough to get Diamond status at Hyatt?

I plan on getting Diamond status and then signing up for the Hyatt card and SM chase asking them to give me the 2 free suites even though they are no longer part of the signup offer...using the "One of my colleagues got it recently" reason....Will it work?

You can match from Hilton Gold to Hyatt Diamond.

Any type of Hilton stay would qualify.

Thinking about going with My wife to Hyatt this weekend I don't have any status whatsoever is there anyway that this thread could help in getting points or at least a nice upgrade without opening a credit card?

Andaz Wall St gives a bad one.
HP NYC has lots of kosher items at their continental brekkie.
