I just got matched with a 1000 point transfer from AMEX, no questions asked.

I didn't catch the trick earlier. So as long as I post any activity (including an AMEX transfer) they will match? Don't they see the points were just transferred?

I had a Diamond Trial from earlier in the year (around January) and only completed 8 nights worth of stays. I am going away again at the end of the month and wanted to get Diamond status again (hopefully this time complete it) so I spoke to Hyatt CS and told them that I wasn't able to meet my stay requirement because something came up and asked to re-enroll. After a little back and forth I got them to re-enroll me in the Diamond Challenge but I did not get 4 new suite upgrades. Didn't try churning the card for 2 suite nights but if I am Diamond and applied for the card again I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I just reconned a Hyatt card on Tuesday before I knew about this Diamond Trial shtick. I'll try as well. Please keep me posted on any progress.

I'm having trouble getting the Diamond Trial approved. They want proof of at least "one night's stay" with Hilton. They don't care about a points balance. Any other tips to try and get this approved?

Yes, Starwood but they said that doesn't count because I'm only Gold there, not Platinum.

Forget it, I just got approved. As long as you bother them enough seems like they cave. I used my Starwood stays and my Hilton Gold status.

Truth is I emailed them 3 times in the last 3 days with a copy of my Hilton Gold statement and all 3 times they respoded that I should send a copy of a statement (as if I didn't). So last night I sent them a nasty email telling them how bad they are and that I sent it 3 times etc. They replied this morning.
