If I only have 30 days left to the Diamond trial do I still have enough time to open a CC and get the suites?
Is it based upon the status at my application or when it credits after the first billing cycle?

Yes.

Read T&Cs -- as per time of application IIRC (but may be time of approval). Def not when it credits.

Just matched to the Hyatt Diamond Trial. My account shows that the four suite upgrade expire 2/28/13. That's less than 4 weeks away! That has to be a mistake (the trial goes into April). When do they normally expire?

You will receive trial Diamond membership for 60 days with proof of top

)...
Now the free nights posted, but no mention that they are suite rooms. are they? if they aren't any way to get hyatt to change them to suites?

Your account has to be diamond when you apply. They won't be suites. And unfortunately once that happened you should have saved the match to diamond for when you actually plan on using the nights so you would have had status during your stay.

IIRC many people in this thread or hyatt thread had the same issue and no luck.

Very doubtful. Hotel programs dont give credit for 3rd party sites the vast majority of the time.

Why not challenge to Diamond from PC Plat or Hilton Gold.

Do you have to get a status match from the Citi card or can I get a status match from the amex card?
