Send them a screenshot of your account saying hilton gold. Did work for somone I know w/o a stay. But do everything at once. Meaning give them all they need. Say want to do challenge. Your hyatt number. The screenshot. And maybe some bs how hilton is downgraded there award chart so your thinking of switching over. I sent to this email adress was done in 5 min. Based on reports I'm hearing doesn't seem like this will work...

From Hyatt Rep "May I request you to please send us a copy of your statement indicating your tier status, name and at least one stay in the last 12 months"

Please advise as I do not have any stays in the last 12 months.

just got denied a match without a hilton stay. anyone have any ideas on getting around this?

Get a Hilton stay.

You can do a 2bm with citi for a Hilton card and an AA. Or just open a Hilton card!
Alternatively, you can pay for a Hilton stay and use the workaround method to get Hilton gold

1) Citi 2bm is dead.

2)Getting Hilton Gold won't help if he doesn't have a stay.

getting the hiton card will get you 2 free nights, use one then get matched.

Anyone know if they actually check if i have the status with another chain or if they just look at the screen shots? ( i only have old pix of my hilton gold w stays but my acct isnt currently gold)

As per someone on the forums, you can match the free platinum accor to Hyatt.

My question is to match HHonors Gold to Hyatt even if acct isnt CURRENTLY gold
