I did. At first I offered it, but they told me they didn't know if it would have any impact, and I didn't. (Probably a mistake)
Now when I called, intending to reduce my credit (or cancel) either way, she flatly told me that it was impossible for me, as I've already called a few times and been denied.

Would an email through my Chase account possible do anything, or is it just a waste of time.

Just ask to talk to a supervisor without explaining why to the customer rep?
Also, which number is best to call? Reconsideration?

You're best off browsing the forums, as your questions have been asked and answered and discussed and chewed over a gazillion times, or just common sense.

Call any recon number, you don't have to explain why, just insist you want to talk to a supervisor. The US ones are just easier to talk to and reason with IME, YMMV, but it's worth a shot IMHO.

2) Hyatt

i can confirm that they still match the 50k for the ua card(did it today) but they take away the $50 credit and no extra for additional cards.

+1 its 2 weeks already since I got the points and I still have the credit.
People have reported it taking time till the credit is reversed But almost everyone reported getting the credit taken back eventually

He asked who is still matching the 50K, he was basing his decision on that.

If I may add unless you know you are flying with a crowd soon CO free first bag wouldn't tip the scale if there are less miles.
