Private School Tuition Vouchers
« on: June 27, 2017, 09:12:16 AM »
Why would tuition be free in Cleveland?

private school vouchers?  I am asking is it that simple that regardless of income earned family enjoys free yeshiva from primary to 12?

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

No. Vouchers are worth around $5k I believe. And tuition is likely double that or more depending on the school.

are you sure? someone who moved from CLE recently said he did not pay any tuition.  maybe he negotiated tuition to 5K per year per child?  is that unheard of?

UH Pros:
-Kids get school voucher (currently $4,650 for K-8 ad $6,000 for high school) regardless of income. If you make below a threshold the school must accept the voucher as payment in full, otherwise you'll still have the pay the difference.

Beachwood cons:
-No school voucher

anyone maybe from CLE with more details such as threshold income level and practically(after negotiation) how much CLE schools charge?  Bottom line is it realistic for me to get free tuition?

Google it. There are differences between all the state's programs. Probably deserves a new thread, but heres a comparison chart.
