Do I have enough time to make it to the lounge?!

I have a 1 hour and 20 minute stopover in Frankfurt with Lufthansa on route to Tel Aviv (from DTW) . Do you think I have enough time to make it to the lounge?  Does anyone have any experience with this flight? Will I have to switch terminals? Where is the lounge located?

It may help if you shared what class you are flying in and which lounge you are trying to gain access to

I'm flying business-trying to gain access to the Lufthansa lounge there.

Depending where you land, and where you depart (gates), and your speed moving around + queues, you might be able to get in a lounge up to 25 mins max I'd say (min = nothing).
However, I'm sorry to rain, on your parade, unless you are just thirsty, they are a complete waste of time.

There's nothing in the Business lounge that you can't get onboard. Good luck transferring at FRA.

Are you being sarcastic?  I've never flown this route - is it a hard connection to make?

Not a hard transfer IME. Did it with the wife and a 2 year old and went pretty seamlessly.
To get to the lounge, you need to go back through security and then come back out when you are done...you may have enough time..i dont remember how long it took when we were there.

All TLV flights from FRA leave from one gate which is "outside" of regular security. That gate has its own security which is done by israelis.

Not really, maybe elal flying out of FRA to TLV, which I don't know.

Let's say that a 50 mins stopover, means walking at a good pace and making sure not to go the wrong direction...
