In this scenario, there was an alternative option, but the government didn't allow. So it's not your typical case of taking someone off life support.

The Israelis DR’s were ready to try various things on her. I don’t know what the chances were but the judge decided that Alta doesn’t get to have that chance.
The parents are Israeli citizens, organizations were going to sponsor medical transports, medically equipped jet. All private funded, not a pence on the brits & not their responsibility. But Judge Kevorkian couldn’t let any of that happen.

This is not true halachikly. There are many situations where a DNR would be appropriate and for all I know this may have been one of them. But as the Mishna in Shabbos says "one who closes the eyes of a dying person is a murderer", any action that speeds up death is murder. The fact that a court is willing murder a child against the parents will is pure evil.
