If an item is damaged while out of country, is it still covered? Did not find the exclusion on the website but wanted to be sure.

You should be fine. Also, doesn't hurt to file and see what they say.

How do you deal with the "Repair Estimate form" for items which don't have a manufacturer's warranty (and therefore don't have an "authorized repair facility"), e.g. for clothing?

I put a note there stating as such, but they rejected it and want it filled out.

Maybe try taking it to a local tailor and ask them to provide a written estimate to fix whatever is wrong with the clothing item?

I've already spent more time than I wanted for the $30 payout. Very frustrating

According to the PP terms, to file a claim for stolen items you will need a police report that was dated before the day the PP claim was filed. Anyone know if they actually follow through on that requirement?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

If you get denied can't you just file a new claim?

What happens if you have renters/homeowners insurance, does Amex force you to use it first?

Left out a stroller and it disappeared, I assume someone walked off with it… :(
Any chance to get it covered under Amex purchase protection? It was $300…

Does amex require a police report for something like this?

No. OP stated "Left out a stroller and it disappeared, I assume someone walked off with it"

So that sounds like it was stolen, not lost.
