Chase Freedom 5% bonus
« on: June 12, 2011, 03:50:43 PM »
I spent $1500 on a joint chase card that I have . I have another chase Freedom account (only I am on that card) and another $1500 to spend . Is there a chance that I won't get the bonus on both cards?

If it's two separate accounts why should it be a problem?

i tried searching the forum's for the answer and the chase website, but where does it state that if you have chase checking account you get 10 points per transaction?
wrong place, but where does it say on continental, that all passengers flying on the same reservation of a platinum member can take 3 suitcases of 70 pounds.

As far as the freedom additional 10 points, it says it on my statement.  We have found it elsewhere but it is not a very publicly advertised benefit of the card.  Use the card and you will see it on your statement.

A reminder that starting July 1 the rotating 5% categories are gas, hotels and airlines.  Don't fill up your tank this week.  :)

I thought I had signed up for the jan-march 5% bonus, but when I looked at my statement I didnt see a separate listing for these bonus points? does this mean I wasnt registered properly for the offer? anything I can do to confirm that I signed up?

It's too late to signup for the Q1 offer.

couldnt find the proper thread to put this in

In Los angeles, Glatt Mart (on Pico) and Santa Monica Kosher Market, both came up under convenience stores instead of groceries
I called about it and the guy said that he would take my word for it that theyre really supermarkets - added up all the charges since april and gave me the bonus 4 points for them

I actually just bought my gas cards for the month in shoprite. Oh well at least next month I won't have to schlep to BP!
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I think I posted this once before.

WaWa sells a bunch of gc's and the purchase shows up as "gas" on the bill. They sell ebay, amazon, etc.

Does it depend on which WaWa? I'm pretty sure I noticed it come up as convenience store but that could be because it was a WaWa market and not gas station.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I noticed on my discover statement that it shows up as gas.  I haven't  checked my chase statement.

Also, my experience was with the wawa in howell. The one in lkwd doesn't hav a gas station so I doubt it will show up as gas.
