Managing multiple portfolios
« on: June 13, 2011, 11:31:00 AM »

In the following fields do you repeat the same info or do you try to have it really look like a different person:
1.   Phone number?
2.   Email address?
3.   Passwords?
4.   Physical address? (If yes, do you make sure that the income is the same in both of them?)

It a lot easier to keep it simple and use the same information but I am a bit paranoid to do that. What do you do? How many portfolios do you have with the same information without encountering problems?

Im so confused...do you think you are fooling them every time you change your street address slightly? Or do you have multiple social security numbers as well?

OK I'll try again.

Some people here, myself included, manege not only their own account but also their wife's brothers, Etc. My question then is as follows: would you write the same email address/passwords/phone-numbers on three accounts or create different ones? The reason to create different address/pass/phone-numbers is not to arose suspicion of fraud as most people have their own email address.

This same point is for income. Do I have to make sure that on mine and my wife's application the income matches perfectly or not. (I am not asking if you can get approved when they don't match - I got approved in that case -  my question is if this can creates problems down the rode.)

Regarding the physical address: Since I have a massive family, I thought it would not be smart to have the credit cards of the brother I manege on that address since there are already so many applications. However I did not want to have it on my address either, since A. He does not have a bank account on my address. B. The income i put down (for the household living my section 8 apartment) is too low IMO for a third approval.

Hope this was clear!

You can use + aliasing or a catch all @your domain

Can you explain - I have no idea how to do this? Also I must say that the main idea is that my wife should not know that I singed her up to yet "another credit card..." so if in doing the above she can still see what is going on, it might not be worth it. ;)

Not every site allows + aliasing (which you can search the forums or Goole to find out definition) but a period should work. In any case I have a trillion email addresses forwarding to one (and that's besides the real junk ones which I rarely check). And gmail even let's you login to one and make it look like you sent email from another.
