A guy in my community got a few hundred bottles of hand sanitizer from a supplier of his yesterday. He posted on a few chats and sold them all to anyone who wanted at cost price, on condition that you don't resell.

Could've easily made some (or alot of) profit but just helped out alot of people without making a penny.

I would just like to add, always confirm and double verify that your not getting scammed, before returning or sending money to anyone. Stay one step ahead!
I wouldn't be surprised if they had scam like that..

Honestly I don't use venmo, but I'm saying it as a general warning, especially when dealing with high numbers.

This was a return of a mistaken payment only returned via an official request on the money sent, so I don’t think there was a way to get scammed here... but you are right in general....

I don't know Venmo, but in any of these cash payment apps maybe there can be a scam: Theoretically, if the money can be clawed back before it clears, he can pull it back and still keep yours somehow.
