Don't agree with you, rather he buys it from best buy and use two targeted cards with the offer of $60 off making it $464 and now with a $200 best buy gift card selling at max for 90% which is $180 still with a saving of $40 and making the phone $484. And could be less if he sells for 95% or more.

 Usually you pay more when you do installments every month, vs putting up all the money upfront.

Because what i'll do is have BB price match B&H for $639 and still get $200 gc plus use 2 amex for an additional -$60 in credits making my total $379 after GC and amex

Will do, I hope to go to the store soon, much quicker then being transferred around the whole BB universe.
Only issue i see is that the Bh model number has more digits at the end
