SPG Government Employee Discount
« on: June 14, 2011, 10:56:05 AM »
Has anyone ever tried booking a starwood hotel as a government employee? It drops the price considerably and I tried it once and was not asked for ID at check it.

Was wondering if anyone else had experience with this?

You got lucky. Almost all properties ask for it.

And I don't want to hear any of the "I'm in the Tzivyos Hashem" so I am eligible for a military rate

LOL

Wait but I've been using the "Automobile Association" rate for some time and have never been asked to show my AAA card. Even though it says clearly that you will need it on check in...

I've seen them ask for it, but also have heard of them not asking for it.

It's a decent rate though...
