CRM Suggestions?
« on: July 12, 2017, 07:19:37 AM »
I wasn't sure if this should go here or in tech but I think this is a bit less techy.

I'm looking for a suggestions on a crm system. Nothing too fancy or expensive but something that I can scan and associate docs to accounts easy and fast.

Thanks
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Hahah, I have 2 needs:

1) to go paperless for which I believe I need a good scanning system (not just a good scanner but a way to organize the docs as well)

2) to finally bring together all the various docs pertaining to each client I have floating around. Some are already digital and on the server but others that are eagerly awaiting to be scanned.

If both needs can be combined then by all means let me know.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Yes, but if you ignore that plug (it's usually at the end) they have very good recommendations. Their articles in general are very informative.

Agreed, but they will have a bias toward systems which work better with theirs. It is more than just a small plug at the end, it is an inherent bias. Once you keep that in mind their articles in general are very helpful.

I would hope not, but you should read their privacy policies. Many of them have free and paid versions, and they're hoping that you'll like the free one and then at some point decide you need to upgrade to the paid one.

Makes sense, though I have seen them mention apps that don't work with their system.

Yes, but one of the biggest advantages an app could possibly have in their minds is that it works with their system.

As someone who uses their system, I'll say that it is a pretty big advantage.

Cool! FWIW if you happen to be a nonprofit, you can get 10 licenses for free.
