No, made for older kids.
I wouldn't give to kids under 15 it can go up to 15mph.
If you are buying it I would recommend that you buy the 2 year or the longest insurance for this product, I had it and it lasted around a year or 2 and now sits in my shed rotting, but a great piece or great for a b-day present,
