Citi Financial Review

Much has been discussed about amex Financial Review. Does anybody however have experience with Citi if they have FR or not, what would trigger them to do it. I can do a lot of charging on my credit cards for family members and I want to know if that risky being that, that's the reason Amex put me under FR and ultimately had to shut my accounts down. I can do significant charging to acquire points some days I can charge up to 10-20K and then repay and do again.

Just got this email from citi is this a FR?

Dear:

During our routine account monitoring, we discovered that your Citi ThankYou Preferred Card account has suspicious activity that we need to verify immediately.

If you attempt to use your card prior to calling us, merchants may ask you to provide information to verify your identity before they approve transactions. This is for the protection of your account.

Please call us immediately at 1-800-386-6624, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by 10/24/13. You'll be asked to enter personal message code 824000. If you have already spoken to us regarding this matter, please disregard this email. We appreciate your business and immediate attention to this matter.

Seems like they just suspect suspicious activity. Are you traveling/making large purchases online/have had your cc number stolen in the past few days?

I got the same message after 1000 at cvs . Is there any thing to be worried about
