Price Mistake? Minka Lavery 12 Light Chandelier - $236.70

Lighting Direct, Wayfair and Home Depot were all selling this for ~$2k

Also big difference b/w 5 light and 12 light

Just because it sells for 2k doesn't mean it's worth 2k.
I was shopping for chandeliers recently and saw many comparable chandeliers for far cheaper.
Also worth noting my local store was able to handily beat any of the online prices.

Couple days ago they told me not before 9/18. Without even asking I got a $75 promo as compensation

But how?? What did you say? I got in on the sealy mattress deal too, cancelled my order and they only offered me a $5 promo plus extra month of prime... How do u get them to give you $75??

It's more than getting lucky. Amazon reps, especially low-level reps are limited to how much credit they can provide. Based on my experience, it appears that each account is evaluated differently based on a variety of factors, such as how many previous credits were issued, how many returns, how much spent etc... This is the only logical explanation as to the huge discrepancies with the reps. I used to be able to get huge credits in a pinch. Now it's a fight for $5.

I has the same issue till about a month ago. Lately I got $10 for almost every time.

Just spoke with Amazon rep, she doesn't have a date when it will be available... She will NOT give any compensation for canceling, and after complaining about wait time and paying for prime service, no offer for extended month of prime. I told her I'll wait for it to become available...

Btw IME being very courteous and nicey nicey with chat reps usually gets you much further than threats and demands. Not saying you did that. Just saying...
