You need to call yourself Alaskan to book. I actually got a good rate for them.

I have had 3 bOA virginat atlantic cards and never had to cancel and never had to pay AF.

No fee alaska cards is useful cos of companion ticket

I have had 2 different reps via chat tell me that converting to better balance will not help me with the annual fee. it will still be applied, just like the credit terms (interest rate, credit history) continue from the old one. I know that doesnt seem to make sense, but anyone else get this? for wife's card so trying to avoid having to call.. any ideas? thanks

Another Q: I have had 2 reps also tell me that transferring credit from one card to another with them (Bank of America) will always result in a credit pull. Anyone able to do that without a pull?

I converted last week and haven't gotten any fees back.. statement with fee on it closes this week so I'll just either get it back or close them. I'm going to try to get a manager to waive one on an AS card and hopefully at least remain with one...
