My statement closed yesterday, still haven't received the miles in my Alaska account, I see on the statement it says they were transferred. I would like to book a flight now is there any way that bofa could expedite them or do I have to wait?

Here is my experience:

I have 2 cards from a 2bm on Dec 12. I am keeping one card just in case I need to manufacture spend and build more miles on Alaskan, but two cards is redundant.

Last night, as Day Sixty was looming, I did three chats and a phone call with the goal of "get the AF waived or bust!" Well... I never got the AF waived. I suppose I could have closed the card (and lost the CL) but instead what I did was to change the card into a Better Balance. They told me that the AF would get credited back eventually.

Interesting data point, the Senior Account Specialist on the phone who changed the card type for me actually told me (without me asking!) "Don't worry about your Alaska miles! They are all safe! They are staying no matter what you do!"

Boa tried telling me that af will stay even though I changed to better balance.
Took a lot of talking, eventually they said it will be refunded.

even if it doesn't get refunded, you can make up to $100 a year w/ the BB

They seem to always post on a Monday. It can take a week or two. Don't worry.

tried to read most of the thread.... just wondering if i change card to bb card 40 days after AF posts am i guarentted to get it back auotomatically? or does a rep have to initiate it?

Don't rely on automatic. You can chat to confirm you will get refunded.

was on the phone now with a rep trying to get AF waived, he actually told me that ill receive a $100 statement balance after spending 1k in the first 90 days,
anyone heard that before? because if true i'd rather keep card open

There are cards with that offer. The 50k offer was not one of them.

I asked the rep to double check.. came back saying I'll definitely get a $100 statement credit,

In any case what are my options now that the 60 days passed. Any way I can still get waived or refunded for the AF?
