I tried asking her to place a note on the account. She said not necessary it's in the system already , what else can I ask?

Send an SM asking if the offer is on your account and hopefully they'll respond.

Completed the spending and miles posted. AF also posted and is due in a few weeks.

Chatted them to downgrade to the Better Balance. She said that since the original card has an AF, the new one would have the AF as well.

Should I just downgrade and fight with someone else for the refund, or only downgrade with a rep that tells me I'll get the refund?

HUCA applies to chats as well just as YMMV doesn't literally mean miles anymore

They are holding real firm. No AF refunds for downgrades. Will just close the cards. Got plenty of other ones.

It really just depends on the rep. The one I spoke to last week said she was doing it for me (AF reversal for downgrade to better balance.)

i just wanted to get alaskan AF waived. Reps kept telling me no but a manager did it for me. Maybe now I'll downgrade to BB.

So u say the manager waived you the AF without downgrading to BB?
If so was it still before the 60 days? Or it doesn't matter?
