MR and VR are mutar to sell (they don't say in their contract not to sell/barter/trade). Once in a while these guys need to get a hotel stay or fly home for Pesach so they get to do it for free (or get parents to give them money and they book with points). It's not like they make BIG money, but in Israel, we don't need so much.

Anyone have an answer? I'm still under the impression (from multiple big poskim) that the selling of points is asur.

I figured most people think this way. It's legal - or probably legal (not sure how/if the airlines would win if they took buymymiles/sellmymiles/milehub,etc.... to court). But legal and mutar don't necessarily coincide. Halacha often times is more strict (though sometimes the opposite).
